Reba McEntire is one of country's best female vocalist and is highly marketable, regardless of the venture! I was really impressed with the Duet album and liked every song on that CD, and was especially pleased and surprised with her cross over collaborators.

My personal favorite on this album is "Sleeping With The Telephone" for two reasons; her duet partner (Faith Hill) and its potential to be a hit for two of my favorite ladies in country music! I bought this album because of Reba's duet with Faith Hill, but was really pleased with all the other duet partners! This CD is a great buy for the price and the music is excellent!

Good review. My personal favorite is the Reba and Ronnie duet: "Does the Wind Still Blow In Oklahoma?". I love the traditional country-ness to it, and I love when they collaborate ("If You See Her / If You See Him" anybody? ;) ).

Oh yeah, Kevin, I also made a new blog entry at my site. It's kinda interesting haha. It took me soooo long to do it though b/c of the html stuff. I may have to take your advice and move to wordpress.

Duet albums are always a mixed bag and this one is no exception - there are some fairly good cuts (nothing really outstanding) and some fairly mediocre cuts (nothing really terrible). I've heard many better duet albums, although most of those were collected anthologies of tracks recorded here and there. I'd give this three stars

I do agree that Reba's been coasting for a long time - I regard 1991's FOR MY BROKEN HEART and 1986's WHOEVER'S IN NEW ENGLAND as the last two outstanding studio albums she issued. Since then there have been scattered outstanding tracks but no consistantly excellent albums
