Travis Tritt, “Something Stronger Than Me”

Travis Tritt channels his inner Joe Cocker, and with satisfying results. He doesn’t use his lower register
nearly enough, so it’s so wonderful to hear him doing so here. The song builds with intensity without sounding overblown. It’s always good to hear Tritt, and when he has a song worthy of his gifts, it’s even better.
Grade: B+

I have never heard such a powerful more meaningful song in my life especially since I’m going through a divorce and have never had to count on anyone.
I bought this cd but never realized how good this song was untill now…… great song
Just a classic Travis Tritt song. Love the delivery and the lyrics are dynamite. He sounds as good as ever on this one and I’m still shaking my head at how this wasn’t just a huge smash hit.
