I love “Somebody Like You” as much today as then! It’s def a song that gets your toes tapping and your body moving and just puts you in a good mood.

I also really liked “Landslide” a lot because I was a big Fleetwood Mac fan. Another good song to me was Tim’s “Red Rag Top”. I can’t help but love Shania! I think she’s gorgeous and I love how she worked and made something of herself.

I think “Forgive” is the best song and performance here. Rebecca Lynn Howard is really a talent who should have been bigger. Anyone who sings about having “Patty on the radio” is cool in my book.

I like the Chicks “Landslide” but it’s not as good as the original and it got so overplayed that I got tired of it.

“Somebody Like You” is such a fun song to sing along to in the car.

I wouldn’t regard this as an especially good week, although it is representative . Other than Nichols’ “The Impossible” and Chesney’s “the Good Stuff”, both solid As, there isn’t a really great track in the bunch although most of the rest fall into the C+ to B+ range.

Covering the post-Peter Green Fleetwood Mac is no way to create a great country record, although I agree that the Chix version was far better than the original, a solid B+ . The Emerson Drive and Diamond Rio songs are the two worst tracks of these twenty songs, both Ds.
