At first, I, too, thought the tune was a little dull, but it quickly grew on me. The lyrics are simple and extremely powerful. But most of all, the emotion cuts like a knife. Brilliant song!

I think in the digital age, that counts, so I included it. It really was Carrie’s best performance this year.

I think the melody is mundane and the lyrics are trite. I love George Strait, but don’t care for the Cowgirl song. Again, I think the melody is boring.
