"Satin Sheets" is just one of those songs -- you can't say why it's so good but it is. It's only when you actually pay attention to the structure of the song that you realize what a miracle it is. The song itself has only one verse, all the rest is the chorus repeated over and over and over again -- heck, the song even opens with the chorus! But damn if it doesn't work, and a lot of the credit for that is due to Pruett's keening, sincere vocal.

Satin Sheets was the only song I've ever really heard from her, but like the rest of your list I'll try to look them up. I still haven't been able to find any Roba Stanley.
