I have met Bonnie, seen her in concert in Dec. 2007 and have bought every recording of hers I can find and still working on it. Such a beautiful voice and singing talent I have never known before. She is a joy!!

Nice catch. Unfortunately there are very few who really remember Bonnie Guitar but she was a major talent in all areas. Her own recordings were issued on the Dot label where she had major successes with "Dark Moon" (#14 Country / #6 Pop) and "A Woman In Love" (#4 Country).

A pop cover of "Dark Moon" by TV star Gale Storm cost Bonnie an even bigger hit - Ms Storm's version went to #4 on the Billboard's Pop Charts and both versions pulled up just short of selling a million copies with combined sales in excess of 1.8+ million. Unfortunately for Ms Guitar, "Dark Moon" was not one of the songs that she wrote.

Very little of Ms Guitar's music is available for sale - you might be able to find some used LPs online or in used LP/CD shops and I think Bear Family may still have a CD they did on her in print but otherwise there's nothing
