Makes sense that dusting off some of the less prominent women singers/songwriters is now the job of schoiars.  Rather a low blow, however, to comment on the &quot;unflattering&quot; photo. The lady&#039;s looks were likely an accurate reflection of the rugged sorrows of the coal miner community.
