You’re right, it’s the first. I should have made it clear in the review. Even if you want to sing with the typically fast songs, you can’t really do it, because they’re slower.:) It will be nice music in the background when decorating a tree, not that my husband has consented to such an activity quite yet, but I can imagine it would be.

when you hear “jingle bells”, “white christmas” and “i wish you a merry christmas”, smell a whiff of cinnamon in the air, find a chubby fellow, dressed in red, crossing your path at your local shopping mall and leeann’s reviewing christmas albums on country universe – then, there’s no doubt, folks: it’s october!

As you know Leeann, I LOVE Christmas too! However, for me, there are two kinds of Christmas albums -those that play beautifully in the background at a Christmas party, and those that you enjoy singing along with and actively listen to in the car. This sounds like the former. Am I wrong?

Well Leeann I’m probably exactly the opposite of you in your love of Christmas. I like getting together with the family but otherwise I’m not a big fan of christmas. My least favorite part of christmas is the songs, I don’t know what it is about them but I’ve never liked any of them. And seeing as how this collection is mostly all classic christmas songs I don’t see myself liking it much. I’m much more interested in listening to Mary Chapin Carpenter’s because I hear it’s really different from other christmas albums.
