Tim and Faith have an amazing opportunity to capitalize on their great list of recorded songs to use them as the basis for a movie featuring a story line strung together by their songs. The movie would be "I Need You". The lead would be best played by the Lost actor Holloway - he would be the Hank Williams character of the song. The movie would start out with him leaving Rehab to go see his mother who is very ill. Cameron Diaz would be his wife who has left him because of his addictions. The movie would be told in flashbacks like of him starting out in Oklahoma in Down on the Farm bonfire scene.

Tim and Faith would then do a concert tour with all of their songs being sung to videos from the movie.

I work for the Moyer Foundation, an organization started by Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Jamie Moyer benefiting children in distress through free bereavement camps for kids who have lost a loved one. Our benefit auction is coming up and anyone can bid online for exclusive tickets and a chance to meet Tim McGraw at one of his upcoming concerts. ALL of the proceeds benefit kids in need. We rely on people like you to help us get the word out to fans that would be interested in a chance to meet Tim McGraw and in helping out a great cause, so anything you can do to help would be very appreciated. You can learn more about what Jamie Moyer’s foundation is doing on our website, www.moyerfoundation.org and be sure to let me know if you have questions! Here’s a description of the auction item from our event site, www.dreamcatchersinfo.com...

A Totally Tim McGraw Experience
It’s a DREAM for country crooners and cabernet connoisseurs alike … a special combination you won’t find anywhere else. NOW- with his new hit album SOUTHERN VOICE- Tim’s star is sure to keep on rising – and you can be a part of it when you see him in concert and have the opportunity to meet Tim in person at one of his upcoming show in 2010! Tickets to the concert, autographed music, CDs and photos are all included.
But Tim has added something extra special to this dream package… if you like tannins more than twang, then you’ll appreciate Tim’s very special donation of 6 bottles of 45YG,B a limited edition wine created by Napa Valley’s critically acclaimed Schweiger Vineyards. Only 600 bottles of this special edition wine were created in honor of Tim’s father Tug McGraw.

I like this song alright.

As for Tim on a new label, I think he'll follow the path already traveled by the likes of Toby Keith, Clint Black, Garth Brooks, and Reba by recording for his own label and using one of the major indies for distribution and all those things you need a major label for. And I think Tim McGraw still has at least 5 more hit-making years in him.
