I’m so glad that J+R are the real deal and that they have been able to work off the “Duet” show. They seem like good people that keep it real… something we all can guess is desperately lacking in any music these days.

Anyone who interviews knows that the success of the interview rests largely on the interviewees’ willingness to engage…Look at me trying to pass myself off as a seasoned interviewer…I really don’t know anything, since this interviewing thing is totally new to me. All I know is that Joey and Rory made this interview a success because they engaged so authentically. I don’t even think the fullness of their warmth translates in this transcription nearly as much as I wish it could.

I just don’t think J+R+L would have the same zip.:)

By the way, I’m listening to their recommendations right now and they are really good (Alecia Nugent and Holly Williams). I’m especially digging the Alecia Nugent album. Rory’s right that it’s much like their album.
