The first time I was lucky enough to see Martina was on holiday to Florida when she was playing at Tampa with Alan Jackson which was a fabulous show, she recently brought her shine tour over here to the UK and this was just amazing. How gutted was I to discover that she is coming back in June whilst I am on holiday, I hope she comes back to us again soon as we love her over here.

Great review. I’ve heard very positive things about Martina’s show, even from people who would never go to it under the weather conditions that you braved. Sounds like it’s true that her show is so good that she can even win over the skeptics, which seems like the best endorsement a concert can be given.

Martina has a little rocker chick in her for sure! Rarely seen on record, but lives happily on stage. Her cover songs were great!

When I first heard that Trace and Martina were doing a tour together I thought it was a weird mix of artists. From what I’ve heard about the tour, Martina steals the show which is interesting because when I last saw her a few years ago I was left unimpressed. Her set list back then was filled with more ballads than uptempo songs and it left me a bit bored. However based on the review, it sounds like she was able to have a nice balance of uptempo songs and ballads. They’ll be heading here to Arizona soon so maybe I’ll catch it.

I got a chance to see her last week, and it was by far one of the best concerts I have been to in a long time. Martina is wonderful live! The only difference in my show was that for Martina’s encore, she sang Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ On A Prayer” instead of the Journey tune, which was amazing! I agree, with your view on Trace. I wish he would’ve sang some more of his older, slower tunes instead of his upbeat ones. Thankfully, he didn’t play “Ala-freakin-bama!” If this tour comes around to any of you, it is a concert that won’t disappoint! :)

Sounds like a great show. Martina’s set list is a bit unimpressive though. It seems like every time I see one of my favorite artists, they always leave out at least 3 or 4 of my favorite songs. I’d like to see a set list that includes ‘Cry On The Shoulder Of the Road’, ‘Wrong Again’, and ‘Safe In The Arms of Love’, among other hits and album cuts. I still wouldn’t pass this tour up, especially after such a positive review. Thanks.
