I think all the people who reviewed the song are just plain boring and like the lame country songs. Brown Chicken Brown Cow is my favorite song and anyone who says different is stupid.

If you want Trace to release more singles like “This Ain’t No Song Love” then support him when he does. “..No Love Song” got to 15 on the Countdown, while “Ladies Love Country Boys” and “Badonkadonk” go to the top of the charts. Songs that make it to the top of the Charts get more radio air time later. Songs that don’t, don’t. Songs on the radio serve as advertisement for Trace’s concerts. Trace has a family to feed, too. BCBC is a fun song. Certainly not a song a pompous bore would appreciate. Not every song on the radio could, or even should, sound like a quote from confucius. Lighten up! Just love to go to a party with you guys.

Trace Adkins is extremely hit or miss for me. This is awful… but “This Ain’t No Love Song” was great.

Yep one of THE WORST songs Trace has released to radio. What was he thinking? Or maybe he wasn’t.

For a while now, Trace hasn’t realized when he hears a bad song. His career took a shift April 2004 when he released “Rough and Ready.” Since then the quality of his music has been in a constant downward spiral.

He’s never been able to find songs that use his voice to its full effectiveness and when he does those songs aren’t released to radio. “Till The Last Shot’s Fired” is one of the best songs of his career as was “Arlington.” The former was never a single while the latter was pulled off of radio in favor of “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.”

I’m not saying his best songs are about the military – I heard “The Rest of Mine” the other day and was reminded just how good he can be. But when he uses his voice to its full effectiveness, he can really shine.

That he’s electing to release songs like “Brown Chicken, Brown Cow” shows how far he’s lost himself. What Trace needs is better advisors around him who aren’t afraid to tell him when he records a dud. Toby Keith will never be that person.

We also have to remember that Trace is associated with “Hillbilly Bone” as well. As far as I’m concerned there isn’t any hope for him to send quality music to country radio. If he doesn’t care anymore than I don’t either.

Maybe radio won’t play “Brown Chicken” and Trace will start to get the message. He’ll have to wonder what’s wrong when all of his singles fail to become smash hits.

And to think, he’s a member of the Opry family…how sad is that?!

I still say Ala-Freakin’-Bama is worse, but luckily it was pulled off the radio quickly, after they realized it was a total dud. (I honestly thought it was a one off song that they played just because Alabama happened to be in the National Championship at the same time, but boy was I wrong…)

I don’t understand Trace. He’s clearly got the say so in what he releases right now since he’s on Toby’s label, and he still wants to serve up massive turds like this. Songs like this only belong in concerts and for fun. Why can’t some people realize that…
