Love the Eric Church album although I wish it was longer than 11 songs. I just played it for the first time this morning and I'm really enjoying the sound he and Jay Joyce have created. I wish I hadn't judged solely on the two singles and bought the album sooner.

For all the love Gene and Rhonda have received, I fully expected to see their album rank higher. But #11 isn't half bad. It's a great collaboration that went largely unnoticed this year outside of everyone here at CU and MKoC. I knew mainstream radio and country fans wouldn't touch it, but I thought it would've gotten more buzz than it did. Especially given the high quality of the songs, arraignments, and vocal performances.

I own the Foster & Lloyd and Glen Campbell albums but have yet to check them out. I need to do that.

Great list so far, can't wait to see what surprises lay in store for the top 10.

Re. Ghost On The Canvas: If this is how Glen Campbell wants to go out, then this is a fine way of doing it. As you said, Kevin, it is by an artist now aware of his own mortality; and he is going out with grace, instead of in a ball of fire.

I have the Watson-Vincent and Sunny Sweeney albums. They would be in my top 5. Guess I shouldn't expect to see Terri Clark or Ronnie Dunn in CU's top 10.

Happy Birthday to Suzy Bogguss! Wonder if she'll be on the list since "American Folk Songbook" got 5 stars here on CU.

Of this bunch, I have the Sunny Sweeney, Connie Smith and Watson & Vincent albums, all of which would be in my top ten - I've heard four of the others and may pick up the Foster & Lloyd album.

I don't like the Glen Campbell album and would prefer to remember him at his peak than listen to this again - part of this is personal as my mother is in the last stages of Alzheimers' and I know what lays ahead for Glen and wouldn't wish it on anyone
