I love this song more and more every time I hear it. It's just a very cool sounding record.

I was kind of shocked when I heard it on The Highway (Sirius XM) earlier this month. There's little chance of this becoming a hit or getting any significant airplay on country radio (especially post UP ON THE RIDGE) so I'm kind of wondering why they would even try. But anytime I get to hear Alison Krauss on a more regular basis is fine with me.

In the context of the album, though, I would disagree that the song itself loses shine. Most of the Krauss-centric songs are ballads and this one nicely breaks the mold. Sure, it's a bit safe and unadventurous, especially after the new tracks from A Hundred Miles or More, but it has a nice pep to it. And a catchy melody. I like when she goes a bit more upbeat and less depressing. A whole album of such songs would be far too heavy.

But all and all I'll be shocked if this one even charts, as much as I would like it to.
