@MM – didn’t know Rhett Akins is the father of Thomas Rhett. “That Ain’t My Truck” is the only Akins song I have.

Bob, I’ve actually been meaning to review the Bowen song, so I appreciate hearing that there’s interest for it. We’d ideally like to review every major release, but often time constraints mean we just end up picking the high-profile ones or ones we especially dig/loathe.

I listened to the Rhett song on you-tube and have no desire to hear it again. Your “C” sounds about right.

On the other hand, I really like Wade Bowen’s song “Saturday Night” which a friend in NJ told me about. I haven’t seen any reviews of it on the country blogs I usually follow. Sometimes I wonder how you decide which songs to review.
