P.S. This single was written by the man who wrote my favorite George Strait single. The song is “Blue Clear Sky” and the writer one Bob DiPiero.

This record could have easily been on Strait’s current or past couple of albums. His sound, his style and his song choices are right out of the mid-90′s through now King George playbook. And that is a good thing for sure!

What I’m waiting for now from Easton is for him to release a fantastically written Strait style song ala “The Chair”. I’d also be content if he mixed it up and gave us the out of left field song ala “We Really Shouldn’t Be Doing This”. Either way, I think I’m going to be at worst modestly content with what rolls off this assembly line!
