Love it! One of my favorites from her first album. Such a nice breezy, romantic feel in melody, arrangement, and performance. The video is cute too.
I love this song. It’s an example of where less is more, and it’s the one place Shania, and the label, got it right on her debut.
This is the vein I’m hoping she travels down for her new album. Shania doesn’t need all the gloss and shine to prove she’s worthy of being noticed.
Most people I talk to disagree, but given the right setting, Shania really can sing. Her lyrics and production often get in the way, which is a real shame, but she has a very good voice. And it’s proven here.
Yes, this is a good song and among my favorites of hers.
Love it! This and “God Ain’t Gonna Getcha For That” make her debut album worth more than just historically significant.
I love this song. It is one of my favourites from the first album. The video is so cool too – it was directed by Sean Penn, if I remember correctly.
“What Made You Say That” is another personal favourite of mine – I remember watching the video when I was young and being memorized by Shania. On that note, are you all doing to do a review for “What Made You Say That?”

FYI, I think there might also be an issue with the site’s feed not updating regularly. Lately, it has been updating every few days with a bunch of stuff instead of as each new post is published. I keep thinking the site has been inactive, only to find that I’ve actually fallen behind and can’t easily browse backwards because of the “View older posts” bug.
